About Cortina: The town lies at an altitude of 1211 meters in the Alps Ampezzo in the Dolomites, and is the largest populated center of the Val Badia, Italy. The highest peaks are among the other Tofana di Mezzo, Monte Cristallo and the Sorapis. Cortina is a renowned winter and mountain sports center, which hosted the Winter Olympic Games 1956 and the Alpine Ski World Championships in 1932 and 1941. The tourism dominates the city from an economic and cultural point of view. The box is a storage container for dominoes.
