Flown by Japanese airmen – Major H. Abe and K. Kawachi with a Breguet 19, fitted with additional fuel tanks, on the Tokyo-Paris-London route. Covering 13,800 km (8,600 mi).
The postcard shows the arrival at Le Bourget Paris “for last leg”.
The Breguet 19 was a biplane (sesquiplane) used for long-distance flight. Manufactured by Breguet Aviation France, as a a light bomber and reconnaissance plane, Design by Marcel Vuillerme.
